"Mind Map Memories" is an experimental film project created for my Experimental Film class, exploring the fleeting nature of moments and the sense of loss that comes with their passing. Through this work, I examine how temporary experiences can be captured and preserved, offering a glimpse into the beauty and fragility of life. My artistic vision is deeply rooted in a childhood fascination with saving moments inside my mind. Since I was a child, I have been drawn to the idea of freezing time and revisiting it later. I developed my own way of preserving memories visually—by capturing moments with my eyes. Whenever I wanted to remember something, I focused intently on my surroundings, then closed my eyes to replay the experience in my mind. I tried to hold onto not just what I saw but also what I could smell, hear, and feel in that exact moment. In this project, I embraced that way of remembering. The absence of ambient sound reflects how my memories exist; silent yet vivid, like images suspended in time.
